Karen Ann ‘Amy’ Dover

Karen Ann “Amy” Dover, 66, of Anna, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on Feb. 12, 1957, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Ralph and Audrey Myer Cunningham.

She married Dana Dover on Nov. 3, 1990. They shared 33 years together. 

She was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church and the co-owner of the Old Dover Junction Restaurant and Convenience Store.

Amy is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Dana; daughters Renee Arnold of Cobden and Elizabeth Rogers of Anna; grandchildren Kyle and Bobbie Velasquas, Holden Baity and Landon Boner; sister Diane (Earnie) Powell of Dongola; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Rachel Nicole Dover.

Amy enjoyed being with her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She took pride in all their accomplishments. She never met a stranger. She and Dana made many lifelong friends while running Dover’s Junction together.

In accordance with the wishes of Karen Ann “Amy” Dover, cremation rites have been accorded.
