Judy Pittman

Judy Pittman, 82, of Olive Branch, died at  3:40 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on July 20, 1941, in Cairo, the daughter of  Kenneth and Elizabeth Boswell Gentle.

She graduated from the Shawnee Community College nursing program and was an LPN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kent Honey; a grandson, Christopher Honey; and her husband, Paul Pittman, on April 3, 2023.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sherry Honey of Jackson Mo.; grandchildren Sara Elizabeth Honey (Ian) of Austin Texas, and Jennifer Lynn Hale (Codie) of Oak Ridge Mo.; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Susan Gentle; and a brother, Mike Gentle. 

Her family will always cherish her words of wisdom, sassiness and spunk.

Graveside memorial services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at St. John’s Cemetery in rural Dongola, Illinois. The Rev. Sam Ramdial officiatee. Inurnment followed.
