Joann S. Theis

Joann S. Theis, 80, of Dongola, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Integrity Healthcare in Anna. 

She was born on Sept. 2, 1941, in Anna, the daughter of Herman Otto and Mary Lucille Groves Theis. 

She is survived by her brother, Richard (Julia) Theis of Dongola; two sisters, Arlene Hallers of Spring Hill, Texas, and Jane (Henry) Samvoie of Port Richey, Fla.; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

She was a member of the Dongola Lutheran Church. She loved to go camping with her mother and travel to Florida for the winters. She was very well liked and had many friends.
