Jerry Wayne Meyer, 76, of Anna, and formerly of the Boaz community in Massac County, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at the Mulberry Manor Care Center in Anna.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1947, in Boaz.
He is survived by his four sisters, Betty Walker (Ken) of Quincy, Wilma Deming of Marcellus, Connie Baker of Quincy and Jennie Law (William) of Mounds; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillie Durall Meyer; one sister, Shelby Myrick; and one brother, William “Bill” Meyer.
Burial will be private at the Anderson Cemetery near Boaz.
Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.
