Jeraldine E. Langham

Jeraldine E. Langham, 78, of Golconda, died on July 3, 2016, at home.

She was born on July 19, 1937, the daughter of Cecil and Virginia Cavness Knight. Her adopted parents were Hal B. and Bernice Vinyard Ewell.

She went to Clark College. She was an executive secretary and worked for the FBI and various Southern Baptist associations. Most of all she was a homemaker and mom.

She is survived by her husband, Staley R. Langham; children Joseph “Bert” Langham, Vance (Jill) Langham, Paula (Clay) Burkhart, Deana Langham, and Darice Langham; grandchildren Jordan Heathcoat, Grace Langham, Thera Langham Knapp, Brant Langham, Trey Langham, Dustin Burkhart, Caleb  Burkhart, Cody Howle, Jimmy Stevens and Cole Stevens; great-grandchildren Rileigh Swan, Reesi Liza Howle, Amelia Langham, Lillian Langham, Julia Langham, Jaxon Langham, Kyson Langham and Addylan Knapp; and brothers, Darrell (Barbara) Knight, Robert ‘”Bud” Easterly.

In addition to her parents and adopted parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dave Knight.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, today, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville. The service will be conducted by Pastor Cherrie Wilkerson.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Thursday, today, at the funeral home.
