Jeffrey Lee Stamp

Jeffrey Lee Stamp, 64, of Anna, died Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on May 30, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, the son of James Lee and Irene Smith Stamp.

He is survived by his mother, Irene Stamp of Wolf Lake; three children, Joshua (Allison) Stamp of Lombard, Jacob Stamp (Jana Mosebach) of Anna and Amanda (Kyle) Vosburgh of Anna; six grandchildren, Jackson, Sedona, and June Stamp, Ian Mosebach, Greyson and Lubbock Vosburgh; significant other Pam Flowers Welter of Jackson, Mo.; other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Stamp.

Mr. Stamp was retired from Dyno Nobel, where he worked as a data programmer for over 20 years. He owned and operated A-J Video in his earlier days. 

He was a talented musician. He played bass and sang vocals in his band, the Sea Walkers. 

He was an avid horror movie fan and blogger; he loved watching horror movies on rainy days. He loved traveling and taking vacations, fishing and watching baseball. Most of all spending time with his family.

He will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know him.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Pastor Darrell Coleson officiating. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
