Janet Carter

Janet Carter, 72, of Anna, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at her home.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1951, in Anna, the daughter of Charles A. and Pearl Amanda Adams Dover.  

She married Steve Carter. He preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2007.

She worked at the Florsheim Shoe Factory for many years.

Survivors include her sister, Linda (Sanford) Keller, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery near Anna, with the Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
