Janelle Nechoda Bean

Janelle Nechoda Bean, 23, of Thebes, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, in Olive Branch.

She was born on April 27, 2000, in Lake Forest, the daughter of Eric John Bean and Jayme Joy Leonhart Bean.

She graduated from Eldorado Community High School, where she earned a varsity letter in track and a JV letter in cheer.  

She loved being a mom and being with her family.  She enjoyed camping and kayaking. She was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for girls (a Masonic and Eastern Star organization).

Survivors include her son, Bellamy Dean Cochran; daughter Jolene Joy Bledsoe; her mother, Jayme Bean; her father, Eric (Valerie) Bean; significant other Joseph Bledsoe; sister Taylor Bean; stepbrother Jonathon (Sarah) Williams; grandparents Jeannine Leonhart, Tamela Schneider, Derrick and Kathy Bean, and Don and Brenda Hauschild; aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph Leonhart and Randy Schneider.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.  

Inurnment will be at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Antioch.

Memorials can be made to Jayme Bean or Joseph Bledsoe for a trust fund for Janelle’s children and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
