James LeRoy Spraggs

James LeRoy Spraggs, 68, of Anna, died at 9:44 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Herrin Hospital. 

He was born on Oct. 2, 1951, in Anna, the son of James Leon and Ruth Evalane Watson Spraggs.

Mr. Spraggs was a member of Harvest Church in Anna. He enjoyed fishing. He had worked in the St. Louis area as a car salesman for many years.

He is survived by his son, James Micah (Ashley) Spraggs of St. Louis; his mother, Ruth Spraggs of Vienna; close friend Richard Derecskey of Anna and many other friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation was accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date.
