Jacob Dale Parmly
Jacob Dale Parmly, 31, of Alto Pass, died Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
He was born on May 26, 1992, in Carbondale, the son of Ronald Lane Parmly, Jennifer Susan Hickam and step-father Eric Winchester.
He is survived by his mother, Suzie (Eric) Winchester of Alto Pass; siblings James (Nicole) Parmly, Jenna (Josh) Stinson, Gabe Winchester, Jon and Lee Parmly; nephews Harrison Parmly and Theodore Stinson; maternal grandmother Linda Hickam; paternal grandparents Ronald and Brenda Parmly; step-grandparents Paul and Betty Winchester and Vonda Hickam; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Parmly; and his maternal grandfather, Dale Hickam.
Jacob had a true passion for music. He was a talented and accomplished musician, playing many instruments. Some may know him by his stage name, “Fast Molasses.”
He had a unique ability of quoting movie lines, but his true superpower was kindness. He was fiercely protective of his family, a devoted and loving son and brother and doting uncle. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed gardening and spending time in nature, hunting and foraging.
Memorial services celebrating the life of Jacob Parmly were held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Danny Miller officiating.
