Jackie Ditterline, 71, of Cypress, died at 5:43 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on Sept. 30, 1949, in Perks.
He enjoyed riding horses, farming and working on old tractors and farm machinery. He worked as an operator and was a lifetime member of the Local 318b in Marion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ruby Eddleman Ditterline; and by three sisters, Sue Greer, Meryl Kerley and Dorothy Pfaff.
Mr. Ditterline is survived by two sons, Jackie Ditterline Jr. (JD) of Simpson and Terry (Delana) Ditterline of Mounds; a brother, Ricky Ditterline of Perks; four grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Hunter and Allison Ditterline; and a great-grandson, Bryce Ditterline.
Graveside funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Jackie Ditterline were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Cypress Cemetery. Rev. Terry Kern officiated.
