Holly Musgraves Shreves

Holly Musgraves Shreves, age 44, of Grand Chain, Ill. passed away at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Mo.

 Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Holly Musgraves Shreves were held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Rev. Steve Heisner and Rev. Gerell Cain officiated. Interment followed at the Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain.

 Pallbearers were be Bailey Langston, Cameron Langston, Brian Langston, Kegan Hale and Lukus Inman.

 Holly was born Dec. 16, 1980 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was a 1999 graduate of Century High School near Ullin. 

Holly loved spending time with her family, taking walks and going to her sons basketball games.

She is survived by her husband, James Shreves; her children, Sumer Agers and James D. Shreves Jr. of Grand Chain, Ill.; father, Cyrus Musgraves (Debbie Davis) of Grand Chain; sister, Stephanie (Brian) Langston of Paducah, Ky.; nephews, Bailey Langston of Paducah, Ky. and Cameron (Alessia) of Toronto, Canada;  a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Musgraves (2014); grandparents, Charles and Vivian Inman, Mae Dunning, Creston and Elsie Musgraves.
