Harold Dean Hankla

Harold Dean Hankla, 79, of Anna, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1941, in Union County, the son of Amos and Opal Williams Hankla.

He is survived by his sister, Betsie Stokes of Anna; two brothers, the Rev. Joe Hankla of Carbondale and Richard (Joyce) Hankla of Alabama; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and by four siblings, Juanita Daume, Martha Warr, Wayne and Amos Jerald Hankla.

Graveside funeral services for Harold Dean Hankla were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Anna Cemetery, with Pastor Joey Hawkins officiating.
