Gerald Leon ‘Gary’ Keller
Gerald Leon “Gary” Keller, 85, of Cobden, died on June 13, 2023. He was born on July 29, 1937, in Dongola, the son of Festus Lowell and Cleta Lilimae Sheffer Keller.
He married Judith Anita Fuller on Dec. 7, 1957, in Boonville, Miss.
Mr. Keller is survived by his wife, Judy Keller of Cobden; a daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Rusty Flamm of Cobden; grandchildren Jordi (Chad) Pitts, Ellie (Kyle) McDaniel, Joseph (Alison) Flamm, Eric (Amanda) Flamm, Sydne Miller and Beatryss Miller (Jesse Adams); six precious great-grandchildren, Kellen, Lucas, Beckett, Lily, Kamryn and Sophie; a sister, Sandi Holderfield; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Tamara Miller; his parents; and two sisters, Lila Childers and Sharon Lasley.
His pride and joy were always his family. He made special forest trails to take his daughters on rides and later his grandchildren. He taught his daughters how to ride minibikes and later motorcycles.
After retirement, he would babysit his grandsons; his world was simply his children and grandchildren.
He was an avid gun collector and loved riding around in his red Corvette.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Billy Carter officiating. Interment will be in Casper Cemetery near Anna.
Friends can visit after 11 a.m. and until the service at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
Memorials can be made to the Tamara Memorial Scholarship Fund or to Union County Hospital in Anna. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
