Etta S. Lindley

Etta S. Lindley, 80, of Fishers, Ind., and formerly of Marshall, died at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.

She was employed by TRW in Marshall for 26 years in the accounting department. Following retirement, she was employed at First-Mid in Marshall.

She was born on April 13, 1943, in Anna, the daughter of Marion and Flossie Harris Duty. 

On Oct. 29, 1965, she married Lloyd A. Lindley in Metropolis. He preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2003. 

Surviving are a daughter, Amy Kristine Lindley of Fishers, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Carol Wilhoit of Marion; a brother-in-law, Larry Lindley of Marshall; nieces and nephews Bill Duty, David Duty, Marshall Duty, Lisa Mead, John Duty and Carol Iaccino and her fur babies and grandbabies, Aida, Fitz, Dixie and Zazzy. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd D. Duty, and three infant brothers. 

Services in honor of her life were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, with Pastor Tim Duke officiating. Burial was in the Marshall Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to the Clark County Animal Shelter.
