Emma Lou Williams, 90, of Olmsted, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at the home of her daughter near Mounds.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1934, in Union County, the daughter of George and Etta Gurley Manus.

On July 17, 1952, she married her love, the Rev. Paul Eugene Williams, and together they spent over 42 years together until his passing on March 11, 1995. 

She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Ullin Pentecostal Church. 

She is survived by her daughters, Arlene (Anthony) Underwood and Brenda (Wayne) Neely; six grandchildren, Clarissa (Tim) Ralls, Adrienne (John) DeWitt, Anthony (Crystal) Underwood, Vicky (Justin) DeWitt, Charity Neely-Phaneuf (Shawn) and Wayne Neely Jr.; 32 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Williams; a son-in-law, Wayne; three sisters; and two brothers.

Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Alto Pass Cemetery, with the Rev. Anthony Underwood officiating. Memorials can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
