Elizabeth Ruth “Betty” Britt

Elizabeth Ruth “Betty” Britt, age 86, left us to be with the lord on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025.

She was born on May 9, 1939 in Mound City, Ill., the daughter of Leslie and Helen (Britt) Parker. 

She was formerly employed by F.W. Witt Co. of Yorkville, Ill. until her retirement. She had attended Pentecostal Church.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara Britt of Hollywood, Ala.; sisters, Dianna (Phillip) Simpson of Wis., Margaret Stillwell of Ill.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Helen Parker; her sisters, Elsie and Doris; and her brothers, Leslie “Bubby”, Robert, and Joseph “Joe.”

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025 with Dianna Simpson officiating at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin. 

Interment followed the service at Concord Cemetery in Olmsted, Ill.

Crain Funeral Home in Ullin is in charge of arrangements.
