Earl Lynn Ring

Earl Lynn Ring, 63, of Gordonville, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at his home.

He was born on Nov. 26, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Richard L. Ring and Joyce E. Abernathy Ring.

Mr. Ring is survived by his mother, Joyce Ring of Wolf Lake; sister Joy Henson (Robert) of Grand Tower; brother Ricky Ring of Wolf Lake; nieces, nephews and cousin Pam Abernathy; dear friends Kelly Russell and Billy Dinkins; a special dog named Taz; along with many other family members who loved him greatly. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ring; a sister-in-law, Sharon Ring; a brother-in-law, Sammy Woodard; a nephew, Cody Ring; and  a niece, Kelli Henson.

He grew up in Wolf Lake and was a 1978 graduate of Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake. He spent many years living and working in the area until later moving to Missouri.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor in October. Details will be announced at a later date.
