Donna J. Heller

Donna J. Heller, 79, of Lick Creek, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Oct. 4, 1945, in Sunbury, Pa., the daughter of Russell S. and Jean Elizabeth Heim Stettler. She married Gary Heller and he survives.

She worked as a nurse at Carbondale Memorial Hospital and made quilts for premature babies. 

Along with her husband, survivors include her daughters, Kelly McDonnell and Janeen Sanders; grandchildren Kristyna, Megan, Zoey, Riley, Joshua, Kaleb, Bethaney, Tabitha and Abigail, 21 in total; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services will be held at this time. 

The cremation of Donna J. Heller has been personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.
