Donald Wayne Clover Sr.
Donald Wayne Clover Sr., 77, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, May 4, 2019, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Lieman Elmer and Velma Pauline Coplin Clover.
Mr. Clover is survived by his children, Donald W. Clover Jr. of Jonesboro, April Eskew of Jonesboro, Sheila Elaine Bass of Fruitland, Mo., Melissa Hope Davis of Troy and Bradley Dale Clover of Jonesboro; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Dean Clover of Jonesboro and Delbert George Clover of Balcom; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Lee Gibson, Owleen Cook and Charlotte Burton.
Mr. Clover was a truck driver for various trucking companies for over 40 years. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a Mason for many years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, today, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Pastor Blake Tillman officiating. Interment will be in Valley Mission Cemetery near Jonesboro.
Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard military honor team of Marion.
Friends can call after noon and until the service hour at 2 p.m. Thursday, today, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
