Donald E. Williams

Donald E. Williams, 85, formerly of Cairo, died Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Upland, Calif.

Mr. Williams was born on May 29, 1937, the son of Ralph “Tim“ and Nelly Dean Williams. 

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He lived most of his adult life in San Diego, Calif., and loved the city immensely.

He is survived by his nephews, Mike, J.D., Pat and “Big” Tim Williams; his nieces, Becky (Williams) Anderson and Michelle (Williams) Lang; and his daughter and granddaughter by heart, Anita Alvarado and Carmen Gallegos.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jimmy Dean Williams and Michael Lee Williams. 

He was laid to rest at the Cypress View Mausoleum in San Diego, Calif.
