Dolores J. Reynolds
Dolores J. Reynolds, 88, of Reynoldsville, died Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1934, in Wolf Lake, the daughter of Cleve and Gladys Tiffany Foster.
She married the love of her life, Jackie Leon Reynolds, on Sept. 8, 1951, in Wolf Lake. He preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 2020.
She is is survived by three children, Rodney (Vicki) Reynolds of Wolf Lake, Jackie (Jay) Jennings of Reynoldsville and Greg (Amy) Reynolds of Reynoldsville; grandchildren Adam Reynolds, Sara (Joey) Choate, Lara Reynolds, Jonathan (Betsy) Oxford, Justin Wilson, Joseph Kelley, Jessie (Andrew) Livesay and Valley Reynolds; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Dennis of St. Louis; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; an infant daughter, Cynthia Gay; twin infant grandsons; three brothers and two sisters.
She was a hard worker and an incredible prayer warrior for her family and friends, leading by example and giving them a clear path to follow.
She loved being outside, raising beautiful flowers. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, but her favorite games to attend were those of her grandchildren. She never missed one of their many sporting events.
Funeral services for Dolores Reynolds were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Aaron Boyd and Bobby Henson officiating. Interment followed in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
