Della Mae Beasley Curtis
Della Mae Beasley Curtis, 84, of Tamms, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1940, south of Jonesboro in Union County, the daughter of Willard and Reba Mae Ralls Beasley.
She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to sing in a band playing country western music and traveling. She was a homemaker and housewife.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Willard “Buddy” Beasley and Donnie Beasley; a sister, Kathy Joanne Curtis; a son, Bobby Wayne Curtis; and a daughter, Della Diane Butler.
Survivors include her sons, Leslie Gene Curtis and Michael (Rhonda) Curtis; daughter Belinda (John) VanDommelen; brothers Ronnie (Sandy) Beasley and Jerry Lee Beasley; sisters Ruth Ann Beasley, Beverly Jean (Dean) LaMeer and Janet Sue (Mike) Phegley; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Pastor Bill Littrell officiated. Interment was in Mission Valley Cemetery south of Jonesboro.
