David Kevin St. Arbor

Kevin St. Arbor, 59, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024. 

He was born on Sept. 4, 1964, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Donald Keith and Karen Ertis Young St. Arbor. 

He married Diane Courtright on March 24, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Diane St. Arbor of Jonesboro; stepdaughter Natalie Linton; two granddaughters, Erin and Maci Linton; his mother-in-law, Mary Courtright; three brothers, Donald Keith (Deborah) St. Arbor of Arlington, Ky., Douglas Mark (Marla) St. Arbor of Jonesboro and Dale Scott St. Arbor of Cairo; numerous nieces and nephews; childhood friend Doug McMahan of Anna; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents Lowell and Juanita Young; a brother, Dana Lowell St. Arbor; an aunt, Nancy Young; his father-in-law, Jim Courtright; and a step-grandson, Landon Linton.

He grew up in Bardwell, Ky. During his junior year of high school his family moved to Anna. He was a 1982 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. 

He worked at Elgin Mental Health and later at Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna as a timekeeping supervisor. 

He was a history buff and was very knowledgeable about Civil War history. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan. He enjoyed sky diving; over the years, he completed 500 jumps.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the Shriners Hospital for Children. He was very passionate about both organizations.
