David “Dave” Englebright

David “Dave” Englebright, 62, of Dongola, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at his home. 

He was born on Aug. 3, 1959, in Springfield, the son of Gerald Wayne and Joyce Evely Burner Englebright.

He was a retired over the road truck driver. He was a self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trades and master of none. He was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and a laugh.  

Mr. Englebright is survived by his mother, Joyce Caldwell of Fairfield; children Michael Englebright of Indiana, Michelle Englebright, Seth Englebright of Missouri and Lynsi Bracken of Dongola; grandchildren Gabby Lake, Faith Englebright, Hope Long, Tyson, Klayton and Bella Englebright, Dusti, William and Jesse Bracken; great-grandchildren, Payton and Oliver; a brother, Charles Englebright of Fairfield; sisters Karen Englebright of Fairfield and Cindy Klaffer of Jeff; other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father and by a son, Adam Englebright. 

There will be a memorial service announced at a later date.
