Darrell Bellee

Darrell Bellee, age 62, of Cobden, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born on Aug. 31, 1963 to Harry Franklin and Velma (Travelstead) Bellee in Kankakee, Ill.

Darrell worked as a delivery driver for Rainbow Water Company and did transport for other various companies. 

He loved spending time with his son, Cory and his grandchildren. Darrell enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting, fishing, and camping.

Survivors include his wife, Monica; children, Cory (Julie) Glasco and Lisa (Joey) Taylor; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Amy, Brienna, Jessica, Scott, and Jackie; two great-grandchildren, Braelynn and Grayson; siblings, Tonya (Kenny) Corn, David Bellee, and Micki (Ross) Crowson; nieces and nephews, and other relatives; along with mother-in-law, Shirley Bauer; and beloved dog, Cooper Michael.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters, Renee Phelps and Rose Marie Bellee.

A Memorial Gathering was held on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. 

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Crain Funeral Home to help offset expenses.

The cremation of Darrell Bellee will be personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral home.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
