Daric Allen Smith
Daric Allen Smith, 48, of Anna, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1976, in Aurora, the son of David Allen and Judy Kay Jackson Smith.
He married Amanda Bludworth on May 22, 2010, in Anna.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Smith; children Haleigh Lawrence, Emily Lawrence (Elijah Haar), Aislynne Smith (William Carwyle), Alyvia Lawrence (Jacob Hobbs), Savanah Smith, Chesney Smith, Trevor Smith and a bonus daughter, Hannah Pineau.
He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, John and Pansy Jackson; sister Ginger (Duane) Bailey; sisters-in-law Kim (Kirk) Keene and Missie (Lance) Stratton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, along with his two retired K-9 officers, NoBull and Mike.
He was preceded in death by his parents and paternal grandparents John and Lillie Smith.
He spent 28 years in law enforcement, most recently as Chief Deputy with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
He was secretary of the Memphis Chapter of the Iron Warriors Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed anything motorcycle and K-9 related, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He greatly loved spending time with his girls and watching them play sports.
Funeral services for Daric Smith will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Anna First Christian Church, 200 Mallard Ln., Anna, with the Rev. Joseph Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Anna Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the church.
Memorials can be made to Amanda Smith to establish a college fund for their girls. Envelopes will be available at the church and at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
