Cheryl Davis

Cheryl Davis, 76, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, Feb. 2. She was born July 19, 1948 in Anna, the son of Dexter Leon and Hazel Verneal (Barker) Cobb. 

She married Bernard “Berny” Davis on April 17, 1967 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2020.

Cheryl is survived by her son, Benny (Sally) Davis of Anna; two granddaughters, Amber Nicole (Bryce) Orr and Amanda Jo Davis; great-granddaughter, Braelynn Grace Orr and a great-grandson on the way; beloved fur baby, Maggie; three brothers, Larry Cobb of Anna, Jerry (Debbie) Cobb, Ty (Dena) Cobb all of  Buncombe; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Berny Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Richard Reynolds.

Cheryl was a member of the Carroll P. Foster Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She always enjoyed going out to play bingo and having a good laugh with her friends. Cheryl worked for a number of years at the Revlon tending bar before retiring. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
