Charles L. Stiff
Charles L. Stiff, 90, of Cairo, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at Integrity Healthcare of Anna.
He was born on Jan. 11, 1934, in Miller City, the son of Ed and Pearl Lela Davis Stiff.
He worked construction with Laborers Local 773. He cherished his nieces and nephews. He was a former member of the Church of Christ in Cairo.
Survivors include his nieces, Mildred Triantis, Mary Sue Travis, Glenda Dowdy, Lela Cashan, Judy Hanks, JoAnn Rogers, Priscilla Stringer, Kathy Pitcher and Patti Pitcher-Liggett; nephews George Houston, Oscar L. Houston Jr., Bill Stiff, Kenny Stiff, Doug Stiff, Paul Franklin, Jimmy Pitcher, George Twente and Robert Twente; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers George Stiff and Paul Stiff; sisters Judell Stiff, Ouida Bryant, Juanita Twente, Stella Pitcher and Mary Houston.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Crain Funeral Home in Cairo, with Mike Sharp officiating. Interment was at Olive Branch Cemetery in Olive Branch.
