Chance Curtis Chapman
Chance Curtis Chapman, 28, of Anna, died on Nov. 5, 2023, in Tampa, Fla.
He was born on Jan. 18, 1995, in Carbondale, the son of Herman Chapman and Jennifer Chapman.
He was employed as a cell tower technician. He loved dirt bikes, motorcycles and 4-wheelers. He also loved the outdoors and his job.
He was very strong willed and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He also loved traveling the country.
He is survived by his parents; his brother, Owen Chapman; his grandmothers, Beverly Stecher and Leah Glasco; his daughter, Jaycee; his son, Onyx; his great-grandparents, Myrtie Boyd, Minnie Benefield, and Kathy and Ken Erb; an aunt, Kasie Patzelt; and an uncle, Christopher Chapman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Stecher, Clarence Glasco and Herman Chapman; and by great-grandparents Leo Benefield and Curtis Boyd.
Private inurnment will be at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
Memorials can be directed to the family and/or to the funeral home to help offset the expenses for the family.
