Bernard Philip Ginsburg
Mr. Bernard “Bernie” Ginsburg, age 85, of Greenville, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1939, in Cobden, Ill., the son of Harry and Lucille (Deming) Ginsburg.
Bernie is survived by his two sons, Brad (Nicole) Ginsburg of Lexington, Ky., and Sean (Lindsay) Ginsburg of Greenville; his brother, Charles (Rebecca) Ginsburg of Bella Vista, Ark.; and three beloved grandchildren, Alex, Kip, and Kent Ginsburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Ginsburg; his brother, Maurice Ginsburg; and his parents.
Bernie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he dedicated his career to the Job Corps Program, where he spent many years helping young people build brighter futures through vocational and academic training designed to prepare them for meaningful employment and careers.
He enjoyed playing golf, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with his family.
Bernie was known for his positive attitude and his love of life. Funeral services will be held on Friday at Gary’s Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and the service at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery with military honors.
