Angie Lentz-Bryant
Angie Lentz-Bryant, 74, of Ullin, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1948, in Cairo, the daughter of Gilbert and Rosann Baker Lentz in Cairo.
She married John Bryant. He survives.
Throughout her working years, she worked at the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center, The Gazette-Democrat newspaper and Union County Hospital in Anna.
She loved the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ullin. She was a wonderful painter and used painting as a form of mental therapy.
Other than her husband, John, survivors include her son, Jason Hacker; stepsons John B. Bryant and Timothy D. Bryant; granddaughter Lacey (Tyler) Shepard; step-granddaughters Andrea Haley Bryant, Maddysn Bryant and Aribella Bryant; sisters Toni Capel and Patsy Veldhouse; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kathy Lentz; and a brother-in-law, David Veldhouse.
Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, with Kim Capel officiating.
Interment followed the funeral service at the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola.
