Amy Sue Adams
Amy Sue Adams, 53, of Cairo, died at 2:32 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Marion.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1967, in Murphysboro, the daughter of Donovan and Brenda Parker Davis Sr.
She had worked at the MAP Training Center.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Survivors include her father, Donovan Davis Sr. of Mounds; her mother, Brenda Butler of Cape Girardeau; children Tyler and Jordyn Adams, both of Cairo, and Bethany Miles of Marion; friend Don Garrett of Cairo; a brother, Donnie Davis of Grand Tower; sisters Patricia Davis of Belleville; and Trina Davis-Sartin of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; five grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Mighty Rivers Worship Center in Cairo, with Dr. Larry Potts officiating. Inurnment followed in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
