Sectional championship game

<strong>Umpires and members of the Cobden and Century high school baseball teams lined up for the playing of the National Anthem prior to the start of a sectional championship game. Cobden was on the third base line; Century was on the first base line. The game was played on Abe Martin Field at Itchy Jones Stadium on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Cobden won the game and advanced to the Illinois High School Association Class 1A finals.</strong>
