Faron Ray Nance

Faron Ray Nance, 48, of Anna, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at his home in Anna.

He was born on Aug. 22, 1960, in Carbondale, the son of Kenneth O. and Joyce Ellis Nance.

Mr. Nance is survived by his two children, Steven and Jon Nance, both of Anna; his father and stepmother, Kenneth “K. O.” and Barbara Nance of Jonesboro; one sister, Elaine and husband Jay Ross of Makanda; one brother, Dennis and wife Diane Nance of Cobden; two stepsisters, Georgia Jackson and Rhonda Hughey, both of Carbondale; one stepbrother, Randall Johnson of Carbondale; four nieces; two nephews; three great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Nance; and a brother, Kenny Nance.

Mr. Nance was an auto mechanic at Triple A Auto in Carbondale for many years.

 Funeral services for Mr. Nance were at noon, Saturday May 30, at Makanda Baptist Church in Makanda with the Rev. Cliff Waller officiating.  Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda.
