Cobden top seed in regional

Cobden, 20-4, is the top seed in the Class 1A high school girls’ basketball regional tournament hosted by the Appleknockers Feb. 8-12.

Monday, Feb. 8, Cairo goes against Egyptian.

Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. Century takes on Dongola and at 8 p.m. Shawnee plays Meridian.

Wednesday, Feb.  10, the Appleknockers are scheduled to play the winner of the Cairo-Egyptian game at 6 p.m. and Tuesday’s winners play at 8 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 12, the championship is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
