Benefit softball game set July 25

Bethany Village, a nonprofit family crisis center in Anna, is  planning to host a benefit softball game.

Bethany Village is requesting teams made up of public safety officials to include law enforcement personnel and firefighters.

“Home Runs for the Homeless” will feature teams from Union County and Pulaski County.

The game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, on Kiwanis Field at the Anna City Park in Anna.

General admission will be $5. Children 5 and under will be free. Tickets will be available prior to the game.

A $10 registration fee will help with set up and provide players with a team t-shirt.

Food and beverages will be available. A raffle with a variety of prizes is planned.
