Disgraceful sight

To the editor,

I just returned from beautiful Colorado, where very little litter was seen, to Anna a couple of days ago.

I went to the Anna City Park tennis courts early one morning to play tennis.

As we drove up to the courts, I noticed aluminum soda cans, large styrofoam cups, cigarette wrappers and cigarette butts galore that were on the ground beside three large garbage cans apparently put there for the purpose of disposing of such.

There were cigarett butts, bottle caps and rocks on both courts.

On the concrete blocks designated for parking vehicles were written all kinds of names and messages.

What a disgrace for our community. We have two nice tennis courts at the city park. Let's keep them clean and playable.
