Skyler Samuel Law
Skyler Samuel “Scoots” Law, 14, died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident south of Pulaski.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Shawnee High School gymnasium in Wolf Lake, with the Rev. Frank Voorhees officiating.
Burial was in Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower.
Memorials can be made to the family.
Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro was in charge of arrangements.
Skyler was born Aug. 14, 1994, in Murphysboro, the son of Ronald and Tammy Dailey Law.
He was a freshman at Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake and was a member of the baseball team.
Skyler was a life member of Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Murphysboro.
He liked baseball, hunting and riding his motorcycle and his bike.
Survivors include his parents of Grand Tower; one brother and one sister, Noah and Haley Law, both of Grand Tower; his grandparents, Susan and Lawrence Bryan of Anna, Vernon Law of Grand Tower, Mary Pierson of Grand Tower and Wayne Dailey of Sycamore; his aunts and uncles, Mary Law of Grand Tower, Dallas Law of Grand Tower, Darrell and Josie Law of Villa Ridge, Amy Freeman, Terrie Crane, Amanda Dailey and Jeana Terry, all of Grand Tower, and Trisha Vaughan of St. Louis; his cousins, Joey Law, Joshua Law, Jenny Law, Jon Jon Law, Brittnay Crane, Brooklyn Ellis, Landon Crane, Aaron Nelson, Bethany Freeman, Chantel Law and Michael Skimehorn; special friends Gage Shelton, Bobby Spice and Brandon Bigham; and many more friends.
