Grand jury indicts man on three charges
A Union County man has been indicted on armed robbery and other charges.
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds reported the indictment Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Edmonds said that a Union County grand jury returned indictments against Heath P. Tellor, 27, of 300 Mary St. in Jonesboro.
Tellor is charged with one count of armed robbery, a Class X felony; one count of armed violence, a Class X felony; and one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class 1 felony.
Tellor is alleged to have taken property from a Dongola family at gun point.
Tellor subsequently was arrested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office, where he was alleged to have been in possession of cocaine.
