Sandra Sue (Rhodes) Miller

Sandra Sue (Rhodes) Miller, 63, died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1945, in Jonesboro, the daughter of William “Bill” and Dorothy Lingle Rhodes.  

She married Dr. Salvador Marquez in Elgin. He preceded her in death in 2002. She later married Russell Miller on June 19, 2007, in Anna.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Russell Miller of Anna; two sisters, Roberta Stearns of Winslow, Ariz., and Billie Joan Follis and husband Dale of Carterville; one brother, Pastor Larry Rhodes and wife Judy of Eagar, Ariz.; one aunt, Wilma Jean Davis and husband Milford of Elco; cousins; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her first husband, Dr. Salvador Marquez.

She retired from Elgin State Hospital in 2001, and later moved to Anna.

Her body has been cremated as to her wishes, and there will be no services. A private family time will be held at a later date.
