Ralph E. Stroehlein

<strong>Mr. Ralph E. Stroehlein, age 88 of Cobden, died at 3:01 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his home in Cobden. He was born October 22, 1923 in Cobden, the son of Louis and Ruth Lence Stroehlein. He married Wilma Helen Livesay on December 16, 1952 in Wolf Lake. She preceded him in death on November 5, 2011.</strong>

<strong>         Ralph is survived by his two sons, Roger (Debbie) Stroehlein of Cobden and Mike Stroehlein (Margie Dailey) of Cobden; one daughter, Cathy (Ed) Pitts of Cobden; six grandchildren, Jason (Valerie) Stroehlein, Jeff (Stephanie) Stroehlein, Jessie (Michael) Rogers, Nikki Pitts (Kenny Shipley), Tracy Stroehlein, and Cpl E-4 Ryan Stroehlein; seven great grandchildren, Brayden , Avery, and Jaylyn Stroehlein, Traydon Broadway, Maycee Jerrell, Kiley Jo Dailey and Kaitlyn Starr; one brother, Raymond Stroehlein of Tuscon, AZ; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Wilma Stroehlein; one sister, Alberta Harris; and two brothers, Bob and Johnny Stroehlein.</strong>

<strong>         For thirty five years Ralph owned and operated the Tip Top Tap Tavern in Cobden. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.</strong>

<strong>         Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Stroehlein will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Clifford Heil and Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 1:30 p.m. and until the service hour at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Masonic services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. by the Cobden Masonic Lodge #466 AF & AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cobden Masonic Lodge #466. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.</strong>
