Rosella Wright

Rosella Wright, 83, of Anna, died at 9:10 p.m. at Anna Rehab & Nursing Center on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012.

Funeral services will be Thursday, today, at 11 a.m. at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Scott Cody and RW McAllister officiating. Mausoleum entombment will follow later that afternoon for immediate family at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Thursday, Feb. 21, 1929, in Massac County, the daughter of Bennie and Jessie Clymore Farmer.

She married Carlos Wright in Simpson on Tuesday, July 23, 1946. They were just starting their 66th year of marriage.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Carlos; children Beverly Ann and Steve Smith of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jesse Wright, Gwen and Arthur Colboth, Eddie Wright and Steven Wright, all of Anna; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carlene Wright; and siblings Christine Alsip, Dan Farmer, Kate Marie Lau, Afton Sanders and Benette Alsip.

Mrs. Wright was a homemaker.
