Jimmy D. Griffin

Jimmy D. Griffin, 44, of Anna, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at his home in Anna.

He was born on June 1, 1965, in Anna, the son of Golburn and Lula Mae Hill Griffin.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmie Dean Griffin and Frank Golburn Griffin, both of Vienna; one daughter, Rosemary Griffin of Vienna; four brothers, George (Angela) Griffin of Creal Springs, Jesse Griffin and Harold (Tammie) Griffin, both of Anna, and Terry (Betty) Griffin of Dongola; a half-brother, Alvin Lee (Latausha Bennett) Dickerson of Anna; two sisters, Lou Wanda (David Shriver) Musgraves of Ullin and Tammy (Glen) Bracken of Dongola; his special companion, Donna Burklow of Caseyville; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday, June 26, at Crain Funeral Home, Anna-Jonesboro with Dare Aden officiating. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, June 26, at Crain Funeral Home, Anna-Jonesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
