Leah Alley

Leah Alley, 47, of Anna, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born on Sept. 3, 1961, in Belleville, the daughter of David Wendell and Kathryn June Wetherford Alley.

She is survived by her father, David Alley of Bowling Green, Ky.; four sisters, Deena Hall of Belleville, Nida Alley of St. Louis, Lacy Alley of Eldorado and Renee (Larry) Lamb of Bowling Green, Ky.; and by one brother, David Alley of Arkansas.

Her mother preceded her in death.

 Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, at the Interfaith Chapel at Choate Mental Health Center in Anna with Randy Wheaton officiating. Interment followed in Choate Cemetery.

Crain Funeral Home, Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
