Clarence Eugene Pickles
Clarence Eugene Pickles, 67, of Anna, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born May 29, 1948 in Anna, the son of Clarence A. and Leona Imogene (Dover) Pickles.
He is survived by his two sons, Thomas G. Pickles and Michael (Heather) Pickles all of Anna; six grandchildren, Preston Deon Brimm, Dakota Michael Pickles, Samuel Gene Spencer-Pickles, Kadden S. Spencer-Pickles, Dredden M. Spencer-Pickles and Robert J. Spencer-Pickles; sister, Martha J. Daniels of Tamms; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barbara K. Wilson and Dorothy A. Stevens; one brother in infancy; and one niece, Brandy Brock.
He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a member of the Labor Local #1330 in Anna.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment was in the McGinnis Cemetery. Graveside military rites were conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion.
