Southwestern Illinois College announces police academy graduates
The Southwestern Illinois College, SWIC, Police Academy recently celebrated the graduation of Session 137. The SWIC Police Academy is an intensive academic and physical training program designed to prepare recruits to enter a career in law enforcement. It is one of only six police academies in Illinois. Among the graduates were Officer Jacob Sanders of the Cobden Police Department, Deputy Dylan T. Lyell (of Goreville) of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Officer Bruce K. Agbayani of the Mounds Police Department.
