Many contribute to success of Lick Creek Fall Festival

Lick Creek Elementary  School PTO hosted its annual Fall Festival and second Power Wheels demo derby on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Organizers reported that with the help of Josh and Beverly Baker, the demo derby was a success.

Thanks to auctioneer, Alex Belcher, a live pie auction again was a success.

The Fall Festival also included a bounce house, cow patty bingo, various games and a fish fry.

The PTO hosted its annual basket raffles and the classes collected items for the baskets.

Mrs. Knueven’s kindergarten class won a pizza party for collecting the most items for their basket.  Congratulations were extended to the winners of the raffle baskets.

Congratulations also were extended to the following students for selling the most basket raffle tickets:

First place, Luke Schlenker; second place, Taylor Baker; third place, Mya Clutts.

The PTO noted that thanks to the many donors, a silent auction boasted more than 100 items and more than 40 items were auctioned, including desserts, a Yeti cooler, Cardinals tickets, a Traeger grill, art pieces and more.

The annual Fall Festival is the PTO’s primary fundraiser.
