Free criminal record expungement and sealing clinic offered

Land of Lincoln Legal Aid is hosting a free criminal record expungement and sealing clinic in Cairo on Saturday, March 30.
According to a press release from the organization, in the state of Illinois, it may be possible to expunge and/or seal Illinois criminal records. The clinic seeks to help individuals having trouble finding employment as the result of a criminal background.
Land of Lincoln Legal Aid is offering this service to those who meet income eligibility requirements. The consultation is free and no appointment is necessary.
