Evening in Park planned

An Evening in the Park event is planned Saturday, May 14, in Cobden. The fund-raising event will be at the park in downtown Cobden. The evening is being sponsored by the Village of Cobden. Proceeds will support the Cobden park fund. An Evening in the Park is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will end at about 9 p.m.
A street dance is planned, with music provided by DJ D. Howie. Food will be served by Kristina Dinic Sinisi. She will have Italian beef, Chicago and New York hot dogs, and more. There will be a train barrel ride for children, a bouncy house and balloon making by Kristen Myers. Cobden fire trucks will be on display. For more information, contact David Stewart at 614-0337.
